August Zeleznik, Idg.Harmonik, made in Vrhnika, Slovenia 4-row (G/C/F/Bb) button box accordion; fully reconditioned, mic’ed, new shoulder straps, wrist strap and bellows in great condition. Some of the Bass key shafts show wear from heavy use, but work fine. One of the horns on the Bass end was replaced with a colored stone. The bezel was hand built, but looks great with a flower decoration added. August Zeleznik started building accordions in 1945 and they where built with all reeds fastened down on reed blocks with gaskets, instead of wax to improve the sound quality and easy of maintenance. However, on this unit wax was added to the reeds on the treble reed blocks. New and old Accordions of this type are very expensive and hard to find. Weight is about 16 lbs. Comes in a nice hard case with velvet lining. Asking price is $1000, pickup.
