The Club operates on a fiscal year of July 1 through June 30. Dues are ONLY $12 per year ~~ that’s $1 per month ~~ a real bargain for all the fun and fellowship the Club has to offer. Don’t be left out!!

Download your “renewal form” (under the “membership” caption, click on “join”) and enter any info that has changed over the past year; then mail your renewal dues & form to the address shown on the renewal form. Note: 2014 dues of $1 per person per month ($12/year) are due and payable on July 1, 2013.

Week-day dancing opportunities at the SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER – LAMAR – 2874 Shoal Crest Ave., Austin, TX 78705 (512/474-5921 – fax 512/708-1753). Dance instructions available. For further information, log onto http://www.ci.austin.tx.us/parks/sac.htm.
Come to the Center for an evening of dancing to live music every night (EXCEPT TUESDAY) from 7:30 p.m. until 9:45 p.m.
Monday – Country/Western: Golden Rule Dance Club with live music by The 29th Street Band featuring twin fiddles. Dance the Two-Step, Waltz, Polka, Jitterbug, and Line Dance. Dance the mixer and make new friends! Door prizes awarded each night. Admission is $5 for members & $6 for visitors/guests. Anyone 50+ is welcome! Snacks served during the break.
Wednesday – Ballroom: Fifty Plus Singles Dance Club with live music, aways a Mixer.
Thursday – Country/Western Swing: The American Pioneer Dance Club with live music by the The 29th Street Band. All the same dances/admission rates/ snacks as on Monday nights + 50-50 raffle awarded each night.
Friday – Ballroom: Let’s Dance Club with live music, dance the Swing, Waltz, Foxtrot and Latin. Couples and singles. Admission is $5 for members & $7 for visitors/guests.

Week-day and Week-end dancing opportunities:
Tuesday Nights: The Continental Cafe & Event Center (210/822-8555), 6390 Fairdale Drive. It is located just off Rittiman Road one block west of I-35 on the East side of town. Dance is from 7 – 10 p.m. Cover charge is $7/person. Bands include: The Countrymen, Wilburn Brothers, Bimbo & Borderline, Circle C, Lone Star Pickerz, Richard Hailey/Neon Stars, Rangler Country, and the River City Wranglers.
Martinez Social Club (210/661-2422), 7791 FM 1346 at the intersection with FM 1516. Cover charge for most dances is $7/person:
Sundays – dance is from 3 – 6:30 p.m.
Wednesdays - dance is from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.
Saturdays (sometimes) – dance is from 8 – 11:30 p.m.
Many of the same bands (see above) play in addition to others like Billy Mata and Bobby Flores.
Braun Hall (Helotes Hermann Sons #76 – est. 1893). Phone: 210/688-9241 or 210/688-5006 – 9721 Braun Road, San Antonio, TX. Public dances are on the first Saturday (music by Countrymen) and third Saturday (music by Bimbo) every month. Dances are from 8 – 11:30 p.m. with a $7 per person cover charge. There is an area for line dancers.
